The Christian School Building and Grounds Committee

Most schools that I go to do not have a Building and Grounds Committee. Often, they are not large enough to have a Facilities Manager, and the Head of School becomes the de facto Facilities Manager with a couple of volunteers who like to come and help “fix things” as needed. While this may work in the entrepreneurial stage of the school’s development (the first ten years), this is not sufficient as the school matures in its operations and as the infrastructure of the school ages.
