3.00p.m. EST The Revolution Webinar: Seven Things Students Want You To Know About Them

Simon Jeynes, CSM Senior Consultant, invites you to listen to children. It’s easy to get swept up into the fad of marks and grades and college acceptance and kindergarten graduation and learning how to read, write, count, tweet. It’s also extremely exhausting, rather like businesses must feel about corporate results being published every quarter with stockholders wanting results NOW! Let’s look at it through the child’s eyes. What do they want? If you grasp these seven things that students want you to know about them, your classrooms and school can be transformed.

Come to this webinar and gain some new perspectives, some new questions, affirmation of what you are doing, potential directions to think about.

7.00p.m. EST The Christian Movement Seminar: What Do We Need to Learn from COVID 19? Online Philanthropy

This seminar will invite all participants to bring their experiences of donor involvement. What are donors telling you? What obstacles are there in connecting with your lead donors as well as your small dollar donors? At the same time, have there been opportunities? Where is your Annual Giving for next year aimed and where should it be aimed? Can we expect higher or lower income from fund-raising as the economy staggers? What does it mean to think about philanthropy long-term in a COVID environment? Come and share.

Simon Jeynes and Bill Simmer will talk about the following article from Entheos:

  • It’s Not about Diversity; the Christian School is about Inclusion

Enjoy and join in a wide-ranging conversation using this article as the centerpiece.

3.00p.m. EST The Revolution Webinar: Five Mistakes Christian Schools Make in Admissions

Bill Simmer, CSM Senior Consultant, asks important questions about a school’s approach to admission and marketing. How do you make sure people in the community know about your school? And how do you ensure that those families that inquire about your school have a smooth experience that ultimately leads to matriculation? Add to this conundrum the reality that marketing a Christian School is so vastly different than what marketing looks like in so many other industries. And did I mention that I’m an EDUCATOR . . . not a marketer?! This webinar is for those who want to see their school thrive but need help understanding what works and what is a waste of time.

Come to this webinar and gain some new perspectives, some new questions, affirmation of what you are doing, potential directions to think about.

7.00p.m. EST The Christian Movement Seminar: What Do We Need to Learn from COVID 19? Professional Development for Teachers, Staff, and Administrators

This seminar will invite all participants to bring their experiences of professional growth so far and hopes for the coming year. Bring examples of free resources that we can share. We will make a document to share all the different resources that schools are using. Are there resources that are not free but have nonetheless been powerful for one or more of your teachers? And what plans are you making for the summer? How are you ensuring that every teacher will be up to speed with planning for the new year? Come and share.
