3.00p.m. EST The Revolution Webinar: Christian School Finances: Key Performance Indicators

Simon Jeynes, CSM Executive Director, reviews the signs of a healthy budget. The budget is a moral document, not just a collection of numbers. Let’s explore what makes the budget explicitly Christian – not a theoretical set of axioms but a concrete set of key performance indicators that guide the budgeting process and provide confidence for every member of the Board to be able to support.

Come to this webinar and gain some new perspectives, some new questions, affirmation of what you are doing, potential directions to think about.

7.00p.m. EST The Christian Movement Seminar: What Do We Need to Learn from COVID 19? Spiritual Life and Formation

This seminar will invite all participants to bring feedback about the strength of the spiritual life in their online learning experience. Teachers are connecting with children and families in new ways; social-emotional health is a bigger issue during this time of isolation; what have we learned about the strength of community, how it is sustained, and how it grows even stronger? Is it maybe even possible that COVID has given us insights and desire to think about and drive spiritual formation in a powerful new way? Come and share.

3.00p.m. EST The Revolution Webinar: Evaluating the Christian Board of Trustees

Bill Simmer, CSM Senior Consultant, discusses the hallmarks of an effective Christian School Board with the benefit that it is cognizant of and focused on maintaining a strategic board culture. This does not happen, over time, by accident. One of the core tools an effective board uses to guide and protect its culture is board evaluation. This webinar will discuss the various “lenses” through which the board should evaluate itself (whole board, committee, and individual board member) and identify the core metrics that need to be analyzed, discussed, and acted upon as a strategic Christian School Board. A by-product of this webinar is that by discussing board evaluation we will naturally identify behaviors and attitudes of a healthy Board.

Come to this webinar and gain some new perspectives, some new questions, affirmation of what you are doing, and potential directions to think about.

7.00p.m.EST The Christian Movement Seminar: What Do We Need to Learn from COVID 19? Enrollment / Admission for 2020-2021

This seminar will invite all participants to bring their experiences of connecting to new families, virtual interviewing, materials to present, website changes made. Bringing new students in is a new experience when the school is not in session and the buzz of a school day, the excitement of a school visit are not possible. How are we substituting other forms of experience? How are our students being involved in the process? What makes for a successful process? And finally, how can we bring these new students / families onboard into the community? Come and share.
