Greg is the Principal/CEO of Catholic Central High School, the nation’s oldest Catholic, co-ed, diocesan high school and the largest school in the Diocese of Grand Rapids (MI). As an educator, Greg is passionate about schools that are faith-based and desire excellence. He believes schools must know their purpose, have high expectations, and offer relentless support to students.
Greg holds Bachelor’s degrees in English and Education from John Carroll University outside of Cleveland, OH where he was a member of the varsity football team and received the Dr. Francis T. Huck Scholastic Achievement Award in Education. He earned his MA in Educational Leadership from Providence College, the first to do so through the PACT (Providence Alliance of Catholic Teachers) program, an affiliate program within the University Consortium for Catholic Education.
Prior to Catholic Central High School, Greg taught English, coached football and track & field, and served as the Dean of Students at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, MA.
As the Principal and CEO, Greg oversees and directs a multi-faceted operation, including spiritual vitality, academic excellence, enrollment management, fundraising, public relations, facilities, financial management, and supervision of senior personnel. He provides vision to the school board in developing strategic, long-term plans to promote the mission of the school, its fiscal well-being and ongoing school improvement.

Greg and his wife, Caroline, have three children. Greg enjoys hiking, cycling, cooking, podcasts, and literature.
